Online Application for Graduation

Graduate Students: The Application for Graduation is now available online. To be eligible to apply graduates will need to have completed or be in progress of completing 18 units. Students should apply a year in advance of their intended graduation date. Students eligible to apply will receive an email. A $47 fee is required.

Application for Graduate Degree and Diploma Date Change

Graduate students: If you need to change your graduation date, submit form with $8 processing fee to Enrollment Services.

*NOTE*: Our office highly suggests students submit the form before the end of the term they are graduating in. Submission of the form afterwards may result in the application being withdrawn.

Diploma Name Change

Use this form to request a change to your “Diploma Name. If your record reflects an initial for your middle name, you may spell out your middle name for the diploma. Print or type your name as you wish it to appear on your diploma.

Change of Mailing Address

Update your address online using SOLAR self service. Log into myNorthridge.

Change of Objective for Graduate Students

Continuing students in post baccalaureate programs: Use the "Change of Objective for a Currently Enrolled Graduate Students" to request department approval to change your objective. Submit the completed form to Admissions and Records.

Culminating Experience Enrollment Request

*Note: Culminating Experience Enrollment Request is known as AR 601.

Some type of culminating experience is required of every candidate for the master’s or doctoral degree. The culminating experience must be a Thesis/Dissertation or Graduate Project. The specific type of culminating experience is to be identified on the student’s program.

Duplicate Graduate Degree Diploma

Graduate students: Use this form to request a duplicate copy of your diploma ($8 processing fee).

Extra Unit Authorization

Graduate and Credential Students wishing to enroll in more than the maximum allowable units must fill out this form, obtain approval from your graduate program BEFORE submitting it to Admissions and Records.

Late Change in Academic Schedule

Masters, doctoral or credential students requesting a late change in academic schedule: Use this form beginning with the fourth week of the fall and spring semesters, for the fifth and subsequent weeks of the semester due to extraordinary circumstances after the deadline for late registration and schedule adjustments, and for retroactive changes after the semester ends. Request For Reinstatement of Disqualified Graduate Student

Disqualified graduate/credential students: Submit this form to request reinstatement. Please attach DPR and Unofficial Transcripts along with Reinstatement Form.

Tseng College/Open University-Late Change in Academic Schedule
